The course is organized by the Light Microscopy Core Facility at IMG.

The theoretical part of the course takes place in lecture room 0.195, while practical sessions are held in the laboratories of the Light Microscopy Core Facility within the same building and in the Microscopy Facility of the neighboring Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Czech Academy of Sciences (IEM). This arrangement allows a smooth transition between lectures and hands-on training.

Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the building.

How to Get There

The Institute of Molecular Genetics is located in the Campus of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.

By public transport

Take underground RED LINE “C” to station “Kačerov” and continue with bus service No. 138 to the end station “Ústavy Akademie věd” (approx. 10 min).

By public transport from the airport

Transfer to the RED LINE “C” and take the underground in the direction “Háje” to the station “Kačerov”. Then take bus No. 138 to the final stop “Ústavy Akademie věd”.

By car

From D1 highway, central motorway (magistrála) and South conjunction (Jižní spojka) exit towards Jesenice (Michle). Go towards Jesenice along the Vídeňská street, Thomayer hospital (Thomayerova nemocnice) and IKEM and after about 2 km turn right. The junction is marked “Ústavy Akademie věd” (Academy of Sciences).

At the reception desk at the entrance to the premises, ask for permission to enter. Institute of Molecular Genetics is located in building F (orange modern building). If you are arriving by car, parking is available directly in front of the Institute.
